Naphthol AS-D Usage

The phenolic AS-D is the main red primer for dyed cotton fibers. The performance is similar to that of phenolic AS, so it can be mixed to adjust the shade. It is dyed with red base B and reddish with red base RL. Also used for the dyeing of vinylon, viscose, silk, diacetate. Color Phenol AS-D is used as a cotton printing primer. It can be used in different colors to obtain orange, red, purple and blue colors. Low affinity for cotton and medium coupling ability. Also used in the manufacture of fast pigments and lake pigments.
